| It was a glorious day with a cheeky little wind from the NE; course was playing hard with the rough thick and tricky. An average field (this year) of 50 saw some high scores although 5th place was a contested 37. Winner with 43 was Jeff Dyke followed with 42s from Michael Bird and Miles Skuse, Chris Hole (good holiday?) and Phil Contreras (champ waking up?).There were, of course, some losers with counter_rob, break-in, hoglet, scorer-0, mussled, morris-7 (probably more on some holes), popeyes-girl, oxslip and smudge. For those of you that are hoping to see a crispy shot quickly, refer to rule 14 which explains all. |
